(1) Id : In simple word Id means, When a particular person know what he wants to do and having a ego that he will definitely do it.
According to Freud, ''ID is the source of all psychic energy making the primary component of personality''. This is the kind of personality trait which is from birth in humans.
As an example, a child wants fulfill all his desires.
(2) Ego : Ego means a person's self esteem or self respect and importance. Because Ego operates in Conscious mind it deals with reality.
As an example if a person just only thinking about 'self ', his\her individual personality.
(3) Super Ego : Super Ego is another aspect of Ego itself, when a individual person knows that he is egoistic and also he have guilt of having it and feels bad about having Ego.
Genius and Intellectual personalities like scientists and philosophers and great personalities have this kind of ego, which is in a positive way .
Alter Ego : In a simplified way Alter ego represents multiple personalities of a one person. Alter means having a second or another option, similarly it applies to humans as one man can have multiple personalities.
Having Alter ego is like wearing multiple masks and showing one self as different personalities in front of different people.
Adding to this point, as per Japanese philosophy usually one person can have three personalities (1) That he shows to the whole world (2) That he shows to his close peoples like family and friends (3) Which he\she never shows to anybody(that which is only known by his\her self ). The last one is the original self of person.
