About the author
William Wordsworth (1770-1850) was an English romantic poet who founded the romantic Movement in England along with his contemporary St coleridge. Their joint Publication the Lyrical Ballads is one of the best examples of romantic poetry.

Introduction
Daffodils is one of the best known works of William Wordsworth the original title ``I wandered lonely as a cloud`` indicated the loneliness of Wordsworth which he faces after his brother's death despite of his brother's death the endless view of Golden Daffodils in field across the lake filled with joy, this view was the greatest gift of nature to the poet.
The poet was wondering lonely in the valleys and he come across a lot of Deffodils flowers besides the lake he was overjoyed at the lovely sight so he gazed at the Daffodils for a while later in his life when he was not in good mood or having a bad times he remembers the golden Daffodils and felt the pleasure of remembering by the memory of flowers.

Stanza - (1)
I wandered lonely as a cloud —
That floats on high o’er vales and hills,
When all at once I saw a crowd,
A host, of golden daffodils;
Beside the lake, beneath the trees,
Fluttering and dancing in the breeze.
The poet was wandering aimlessly just like a cloud Over The Hills and valleys of the mountains Lake district in London at that time suddenly he came across a large number of the Golden Daffodils beside the lake and under the trees Daffodils were fluttering and dancing in the breeze.
Here the poet used a Simile by comparing himself directly with clouds, Simile means of figure of speech used to compare two things by using words like crowd and host the indicates that there are large number of Daffodils covered the valley. Continuous as the stars that shine
And twinkle on the Milky Way,
They stretched in never-ending line
Along the margin of a bay:
Ten thousand saw I at a glance,
Tossing their heads in sprightly dance.
The flowers and compared to star's their structure in the continuous way like milky way in a Galaxy. Although the golden Daffodils were shining and twinkling as the stars.
``The lines that stretched in a never ending`` this line describes the continuous line of golden deffodils along the bay. It has ever lasting impact on him by saying that Ten thousand I saw at a glance he exaggerates the number of flowers, this defines that the poet has never seen so many Daffodils at once so he overjoyed this much the flowers At Once. The waves beside them danced,
but they Out-did the sparkling waves in glee:
A Poet could not but be gay,
In such a jocund company:
I gazed—and gazed—but little thought
What wealth the show to me had brought:
Poet describe the atmosphere around the flowers by describing about the waves in the lake by having such a cheerful companion poet like Wordsworth can't being happy the word Gazed using twice to indicate how charmed the poet was by flowers. For oft, when on my couch I lie
In vacant or in pensive mood,
They flash upon that inward eye
Which is the bliss of solitude;
And then my heart with pleasure fills,
And dances with the daffodils.
Poet shows the reason for wealth that flowers brought to him by saying for in the starting of the stanza the sight of flowers was so important in point's life because whenever he was vacant or thoughtful mood the Daffodils flash upon his eyes they becomes the everlasting memory for him.

Analysis of the poem
In the beginning of this poem poet expressed his feeling of Solitude by saying I wondered as a lonely cloud the reason behind his loneliness was the death of his beloved brother. While passing through a valley besides the lake he came across the cluster of golden daffodils referred as they were thousands and thousands in the numbers as for the poet he described them dancing blinking and twinkling stretched along the Shore of Lake. Poet composed the flowers with compared the flowers with twinkling stars by this comparison flowers seems more heavily as start this site enlightened them and he enjoyed the company of flowers.
